    Rock Solid Mount!

Posted by Gordon Nicholson on Apr 17th 2020

I have it mounted on the top rail of an F150 (DIY set-up). I carry both my mountain bike and road bikes confidently on the roughest of roads. Adjusting the clamp to get a great secure lock is super easy and efficient; fine threads allow micro adjustment to get just the right solid locking. The locking mechanism is the best I've experienced. No lock is absolutely thief proof but this one is as good as it gets for a self contained mounting/locking system. I highly recommend the mount.

I have two cargo management low ball locks mounted in my Silverado since 2015 for my electric pedal assist bike. Now moving them over to my 2019 Ram Rebel bed rails. These mounts are by far the best investment I’ve made for my bikes travelling up and Dow the coast from Toronto to Miami with complete confidence in their security.

    Great Stuff!

I bought two Rocky Mounts "Low Ball Locking" and later purchased a single "Drive Shaft Through-Axle Adapter". Service was excellent on both occasions and the products are solid - great quality. I had both Low Ball mounts keyed alike on the first purchase and was later able to key the Through Axle adapter to match. 100% happy!

    LoBall Locking Review

Great for mounting our daughters 24" Norco Fluid on the lid on the back of our utes. Occasionally needs a spray with lube in locking mechanism to free it up, but understandable as we live in Sulphur city - Rotorua, NZ.

Great experience, I am sure that my bike's carbon frame will be well taken care of.
