I have one of my Subaru. One on my Santa Cruz. Excellent bike racks best i've ever used
The add on works well and secures the bike well. It is easy to use. The add on is secured via two screws and they come loose when traveling long distances. I added lock washers and that helped. The drop down feature is hard to use with the third bike. I am tall and can not get low enough to the ground and the bikes come over the top of my head and back. By the swing out model if you need to carry more than two bikes.
i need to carry a third bike on occasion and this is great. it plugs in and out with two bolts, so i just plug it in when i need it. it carries both my road bike and fat bike, was happy to find something that worked with all bikes.
