    Stronger Lock for Bike Rack

Posted by Bill DEpagnier on Apr 21st 2024

This is a solid metal replacement lock for the flimsy plastic ones that come with the Monorail hitch rack. It can be keyed for any existing RM keys and appears to be much more secure than the plastic locks.

This lock is so much better than the one that came stick with my monorail rack. Great quality and fast shipping. Stop sitting on the sofa eating cheez-its thinking about it and go order yourself one and thank me later.

    Solid Locks

I feel much safer, knowing that I’ve got these locks on my rack and bike versus the plastic ones that I came with. Solid and secure.

    Premium Metal Lock Pod

Posted by Tomas Zuccareno on Jun 30th 2021

I bought a keyed replacement for a pod that I had lost. It showed up fast. My rack is old and so it needed I little manipulating for the the pod to work. I called customer service and they talked me through it in less than a minute. SUPER great customer service for a great product. Thanks, Rocky Mounts!

    Upgrade from stock lock

Much better than the ones that come stock. The plastic stock one can get hit with a hammer and break off, the metal ones are legit and I feel safer leaving my bike on the rack
