I sold my KUAT Transfer 3 and bought the Westslope. This rack was super easy to assemble and is super rock solid. IMHO it's superior to the Kuat.

I've had this for almost two years now and it's great and serves its purpose well. My only concern is longevity as it does take it rain water and then leak out rust water. So guess worse case scenario I loose my bike on the highway because It rusts from the inside out...

Absolutely love this rack. Im no engineer but it seems to be designed pretty amazing! Definately trust it to carry my expensive bike. Only downside is shipping to canada I found to be pretty rough paying a lot in brokerage fees so anybody from Canada watch out for that. Other than that, super quality product and happy to support a business owned by fellow shredders.

The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because one of the front wheel backstops was cracked when it arrived. Because the replace was $14 dollars I went ahead and decided , for less hassle, to order a replacement instead of trying to contact customer service. The part arrived in two days, however I had to pay a shipping charge of $9. With that said, the rack is very steady with little sway and holds our ebike and road bike securely . Also compared to other racks you can’t beat the price.

Carried my Motobecane 29" XL frame Mountain Bike almost 5000 miles. I drove from Chicago, through Utah, and back again with Zero issues! I often two Mountain Bikes locally and short 140 mile trips with no issues as well! I bought Rocky Mounts lockset, and Highly recommend it.

The quality of the materials to make this rack is way above par. The function of this rack is simple to use and you'll feel confident in the security and safety of your bikes as you travel. Package arrived in just a few days, I bought from RockyMounts website. Upon opening you'll find a very well packaged product. You can see they take pride in the " out of the box experience. " All parts wrapped, bagged, labeled and accouted for. I suggest watching their 5 minutes instructions video on the website in description of the Westslope first. It's a informative video and it might answer any questions you have before assembly. Assembly only took me about 20 minutes. Upon completion of assembly, I kept knodding my head yes and smiling. The design is amazing and the look of this rack is Sharp and Confident. I suggest getting the lock kit (comes with 2 locks) that comes with it. One lock is for the hitch pin the other lock is for the pivot pin with a very sturdy and capable insulated cable. I had a few simple question and sent an email to customer support that evening and the very next day had a response from the warranty and repair department. All questions answered and I felt they were truly concerned about me and wanted to make sure I was 110% ready for more adventures with their product. The Quality of RockyMounts product, Customer service, the price of this bike rack, which is a few hundred dollars to LOW, is why I am telling all of my friends about this company. Stop looking. Buy now.

As novice bikers on vintage cruisers, we were putting our bikes in our cargo van and bungee-ing in place. With heavy bikes it was tough on my husband. So we decided to buy the Westslope bike rack. We found it was very easy to use, just a great design. It holds our heavy cruisers easily and firmly, not too much movement as we drive. It's so easy to use! Now we pop our bikes on and go. Instead of regretting the cost, we now feel it is money so well spent. We bike often since it's not a hassle any more. And, as racks go, I guess it's not that costly. By the way, we did have the bike shop assemble it for a small fee -- looks like assembly isn't too difficult on the video, but it was a nice "gift" to my husband. We got the lock kit also, and that works very well -- also money well spent. Happy biking! p.s. it says not for use for bikes with fenders, ours have fenders and it seems to work well -- but I see where it could move or bend the fenders, we're going to go ahead and take our fenders off. If you have a really nice cruiser with fenders might want to think about that.

'-This thing is great. It holds two mountain bikes firmly at highway speeds. What else can you as for? It was easy to assemble and has lived on my car ever since. The folding mech. works. The tiered design is great and I have not had a problem with bars or saddles rubbing or interfering. The price is great! -But I'm mostly writing this review to counter a thing I see over and over about this rack not coming with straps to hold down the towers from the factory when it is in the upright position. It does, and you absolutely can secure them with the parts provided... so I'm a little baffled as to what people are talking about. If you just extend the rear wheel straps so they are in one click each side (I leave the backside like this so it's super simple to snug the front of the strap to the wheel size and then when I take the bike off I just click the front in once ) you just clamp the hook on the tower into the strap... and its secured... It's simple. you don't have to buy anything else.

I can not belive the thing is so cheap. Bought via blackcountry on ebay. Fitment of parts is top notch. User manual gives step by step instructions. Some bolts are in separate bags for step by step reference. Color coding of parts. One of the best user guides i saw. Some therious thought spent on this product. The platform is angled to eliminate the sadfle/ handkebars conflict.. And it looks awesome. Easy to fold to a super compact thing. I can open my trunk with a bike tilting the whole thing down. Half price and 40% lighter than comparable Txxxx priduct Thank you guys. I wm happy ))
