Attention RockyMounts MonoRail and SplitRail customers:

This notice is being sent in accordance with the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act. RockyMounts Inc. has identified a potential welding defect with some MonoRail and SplitRail hitch racks manufactured between January 2016 and August 2017. In some cases, the weld is insufficient and could lead to failure. Stop using the rack immediately and check if your rack is affected. This affects both 1.25” and 2” models.

Please check the base of your rack to see if it needs replacement.

If your rack has no marking here, it is being recalled. If it is labeled Rev H, I, J it is OK. If your rack is affected, email ride@rockymounts.com and include pictures of your current base. Bases will be shipped at no cost to the customer.
