RockyMounts is proud to sponsor fellow Grand Junction based collegiate cycling program at Colorado Mesa University, CMU Cycling, who is sending 6 riders with Team USA to the 2022 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships. The event will take place in the South East of France over 24th-28th of August.

Racers competing in the event will include an Elite Women’s appearance from World Cup winner and CMU Alumni Gwendalyn Gibson, U23 appearances from current students Austin Beard, Madigan Munro, Lauren Lackman and Juniors Jack Spranger and Chloe Fraser who are also current students. An honorable mention goes out to Ruby Ryan, who is also a CMU Cycling athlete and Grand Junction resident that will be competing under the New Zealand flag.

Each of these athletes are frequently seen around the Grand Valley while training, attending classes, and helping grow cycling in the community all together.

RockyMounts is proud to work with such a dedicated team of athletes, and can’t wait to see them bring home some medals!
