The GuideRail steps away from the traditional carrying style of platform hitch racks; By utilizing dual load arms, the rack completely eliminates frame or fork contact, it allows for asymmetric bike loading to avoid handlebar interference, and it creates a simple aesthetic that virtually blends in with most vehicles. The GuideRail reduces plastic parts to a minimum and maintains the same capacity and reliability of the MonoRail Family. Carrying bikes up to 60lbs per tray, tires up to 3” wide, and wheelbases up to 55” the GuideRail can handle just about anything including most E-bikes. Included is a 10mm square link chain to secure your bikes without stress.

Guiderail
If you are reading this for an unbiased average mountain biker's opinion on whether to buy one of these, do it! Probably like many of you, I checked out all the "1up" style wheel locking racks (including 1up as well) and decided to take the plunge with the Guiderail. Nothing bad to say about any of the alternatives, in fact my brother uses the 1up and likes it as well, but this thing is awesome! It came fast and packaged well, took maybe 10 minutes to assemble, and presto...done! It isn't heavy, but built solid and locks onto the hitch with the anti wobble like a gorilla has a death grip on it! The best part and one of the main selling points for me is the smoothness of the ratchets and the fact that you don't have to continuously apply pressure on the levers to adjust like the 1up racks. I was skeptical since I couldn't find a dealer in central Florida that had the Guiderail on display for me to see in person, but after using it, I am now a believer and glad I got it for the long haul! No matter what you go with, you're dropping a pretty dime, so don't settle or be afraid to try a different rack such as the Rocky Mounts Guiderail. You won't regret it.

Sweet upgrade to 1up
Had this rack for a month now and have been very pleased with the quality and ease of use. I take mine off after each use and wish it could fold up more to take less storage space in garage. It would be nice in future versions to have integrated brake lights. Overall I would def rec.

Rocky Mounts GuideRail
Love this new bike rack! Easy to laid and unload and there’s no wobble while driving.

Nicest rack I've ever used
Title says it all - this is the nicest rack I've ever used. Reasonably light, very secure in hitch, so easy to load and unload bikes, and bikes are held by the wheels with plenty of room between bikes to avoid pedal rub. Super easy to tilt the rack down. Well built and seems like it will last forever. A pleasure to use which is quite a change from most racks I've used. The only downside is that on a Tesla Model Y the lock doesn't fit because there isn't enough space between the hitch and the connector for the trailer cable connection. This is currently the best selling car in the world - how about making a pin/lock combination that works for it (I'd be happy to test it out for you)?

Looks good, sturdy, and security
This rack looks really good and seems to be well built. Most people think this is just a copycat of the 1up racks, well yea maybe because it has the same concept. However, this rack got plenty of upgrades over the 1up rack if you really want to compare it side by side. Just the locking mechanism that holds the tire and the security chain that is included in the package is already a big upgrade over the other racks that uses the same concept. Ive used rockymount before (Splitrail Ls) and it served me very well. Only time can tell if this guiderail will do the same. My only complain with this rack is the quality finish of the paint. It came with some scuffs. Pros: Well built Easy to use Looks good Not heavy Cons: Paint finish Can only do 1 extra add on Cant accommodate fat tires Price (they are all expensive)

Rating
Very satisfied with this rack. Robust design and very easy to load/unload. Typically load is 2 mtbs (L and XS) and they fit very well with no bar interference.

GuideRail is a standout
The GuideRail is a standout! Strength, quality and good looks. One handed load arm release and built in security features are what sold me on this rack. A++ I have been a user of the 1UP USA hitch rack and roof trays for over seven years.

Sleek, Stable, Exceeds Expectations
I previously owned a Monorail rack and loved it however I was looking for something new and easier for my wife to load the bikes. This rack is it. Its very sleek, easy to install, easy to load the bikes securely, and very stable driving down the road. The ratcheting design is the easiest to use in its class when compared to its competitors. I was willing to spend much more for a quality bike rack, but this is the best of both worlds: affordable, stable, good looking and exceeds all expectations. Thanks again for a great product and quick shipping.

GuideRail 2”
I love the new rack. It’s well made and sturdy, and easy to install and remove from vehicle. It was extremely easy to put together; just 4 screws. It took less than 5 minutes to complete. I got this as an upgrade to the Monorail I got over 5 years ago. Now I have a rack for both vehicles.
