The MonoRail is the most versatile rack in the RockyMounts line up. It has the capacity for all styles of bikes; from skinny tire road machines, up to heavy fat tire E-bikes, this rack has you covered.
- Carries 2 bikes ONLY, up to 60 lbs per tray (120 lbs total). 1.25" variant is NOT compatible with Add-On
- No contact with frame, secures bicycle by front wheel
- Carries road tires up to 5.0” fat bike tires, and diameters from 20” to 29”
- Compatible with bicycle wheelbases from 36” to 50”
- Folds flat against the vehicle and tilts down 30 degrees to allow for hatch access
- Includes anti-wobble hitch pin
- If you want to fit both 1.25" and 2" size hitches, get the 1.25" and our adaptor sleeve. This configuration does not allow for the use of an Add-On
- Includes locking hitch bolt, cable lock, and standard lock pods, keyed alike
- Note: Cable lock is not intended to be used while driving. Road vibrations can cause unintended wear on frames, rims, and the rack itself. Please remove cable lock when vehicle is in motion
- Not for use with fender equipped bicycles, or on Class I hitch receivers
- Rack weight 39 lbs (shipping weight 51 lbs)
- Fit Memo- For cargo vans a fit check is required. Depending on hitch manufacturer, handlebar width, vehicle wheelbase, and accessories an 8" Hitch Extension may be required for handlebars to clear the door
- Hitch extension will be required for the following vehicles: Santa Fe, Sorento, Rav 4, Compass, Alfa Romeo's, 2nd Gen Forester (and typically other gens). Their exhaust outlet will burn racks when in the folded position without hitch extension or exhaust diverter.

Great Purchase!
We've had this bike carrier for a few months now, couldn't be happier with the purchase. The carrier came almost completely assembled, just had to bolt the two bike platforms to the bottom, it came with all the tools needed and only took my husband 20 minutes to assemble it onto our Outback. We took it on a long road trip over labor day weekend, with the tilt feature we could still get to our stuff in the back of the car and loading and unloading the bikes was super easy. No more headaches from fighting and maneuvering bikes on our old hanging style rack.

MonoRail Rules
I am super impressed with the MonoRail, it's super sturdy and the design is awesome. It changes positions easily and smoothly, everything on the rack seems really well thought out and the construction feels more solid than other, more expensive options. I was a little skeptical at first based on the price point but this rack is as good or better than than the much more expensive big brands.

MonoRail Platform Hitch Rack
hitch works great and easy to use. Nice solid attachments to vehicle and bike attachments. Using on truck and bikes sit above top of bed.Sit higher than expected but worls well.

Ride the MonoRail
MonoRail is exactly what we expected. Easy to use and secures our bikes. We have fat tire e bikes with 29"x4.9" tires and it fits like a glove. We also get many inquiries from people who are impressed when they see it.

Return to Mountain Biking after 15 Years.
A friend helped us get back into mtn biking after 15 tears of road biking. he told me about your Monorail Platform, the ordering process was so easy and the rack showed up almost the next day. we love using it, so easy to load your bikes and it flips up out of the way when mot in use. I would recommend this rack to everyone.

simple and secure
I was looking at this and a T2. i bought this because it was lighter and included the locks, glad i did. it folds up and down really easy. i had never heard of this company, so was a little worried about what to expect. assembly took about ten minutes and the parts were really good quality. i ride a fat bike and needed a rack that fit both my fat bike (hard to find) and my road bike and this works great for both of them.
